DJH is a Cologne-based musician who traverses the outer borders of experimental dance music, contemporary rap production and wide-screen melancholia. Hes released multiple scene-celebrated electronic projects as well as contributed production to an array of major label pop and rap releases, most recently Playboi Cartis ?Different Day? with his duo OUTOFAIR. Hes no stranger to the Moment family, as a collaborator of umru, sv1 and cutspace, and a hired gun on the ?Riser Stars and ?Deck Thrashers XR Moment packs.?

Now, with ?Bismuth Reliquary hes set out to conjure an ?intangible feeling of timelessness? in a sample pack without relying on nostalgic tropes of AAA pop music production. Caught between past and future, the pack employs sounds from early 2000s VA synthesizers like the Alesis Ion and Nord Rack 2, crystallizing their distinct features into new shapes. ?The desire to access the intangible fascinates me,? DJH tells us, ?these tools made to emulate natural reactions of electrical current always fall short, but end up in a liminal world of untapped sonic possibility.?
