Search & discovery improvements
Search now makes it easier to find the current product you want while keeping older releases available when you deliberately switch to the deeper archive.
Basic Search
- Basic Search now focuses on current/latest product families instead of filling the page with older duplicate versions.
- Windows and Mac results remain separate where they are genuinely different releases.
- Basic Search uses the main results view only, while Deep Search remains the route to the wider archive and additional result engines.
- Search result counts and the original result information display have been restored and preserved.
Autocomplete
- Search suggestions are now backed by the live catalogue instead of relying only on a static keyword list.
- Autocomplete is responsive, width-contained, scrollable and shortened with ellipsis where titles are too long.
- More suggestions are available behind scrolling without allowing the dropdown to take over the page.
